Tutor SMS student to call her 'full-time bitch', 'dumb' and 'useless'
STOMPer Chloe's friend was called a bitch by her ex-tutor in a series of rude text messages to her, which also contained other derogatory and insulting remarks.
The STOMPer recounts the unpleasant exchange between her friend and her ex-tutor:
"I was taken aback when my friend called me and said her ex-tutor, a 30-year-old male, called her a bitch. He is a teacher after all, he should set a good example.
"This happened last night (5 Sept) when the tutor texted my friend asking her if she had transferred the money for a lesson in August.
"My friend had already deposited a cheque of $70 into his account on 31st Aug.
"To which he replied, ‘even if u wanna underpay, dun do it so obviously la.’
"He charged $35/hour, my friend paid $70 for two hours/ a lesson. She did not underpay him at all.
"Annoyed, she replied ‘oh, maybe your part-time job is being a debt collector?’ as a joke because her ex-tutor will call her or her house number asking for payment every few days.
"With that, the tutor then bombarded her with texts calling her a ‘full- time bitch’, repeatedly calling her ‘dumb’ and used words like ‘shit’.
"Shocked that her ex-tutor actually called her a bitch, she texted him back and explained that it was his duty to teach her well and that she failed her tests because he did not have the ability to teach her.
"Again, his replies were full of insults and and he called her ‘dumb’ and ‘useless’.
"My friend also mentioned to me that during their lessons, he will be texting on his phone non-stop or reading a magazine. I think that is so irresponsible of him, she paid him to teach!
