China national hangs towel and props bottle on bus as if he's at homeA STOMPer saw this China national hanging his towel, placing his water bottle and even propping his feet up on the bus railing.
Orange told STOMP via email today (Jun 15):
"I am writing in to comment on the picture taken last Friday on an SMRT bus number 190, heading from Chinatown.
"I happened to snap a picture of this China guy who hung his towel and water bottle on the bus railing together.
"He thinks this is his own country, and brought his habit to Singapore.
"If they want to continue staying in Singapore, they must follow our culture instead of us having to accept their dirtiness and rude manners to local people.
"Best is to export them out of Singapore."_____________________This show the negative side of having foreign workers, they just dun behave properly, in retrospect, singaporeans need also show a good example to others to see...wonder how many times i had seen- Digging nose
- Legs put at opposite seats
- Bus vandalism

actually casual racism is quite prevalent in Singapore. this thread is a perfect example. it seems to be generally accepted by the public also, which is scary. i myself as a singaporean am ashamed of it. i was brought up with it, in primary school all the way to NS and then to working life, with all those job advert even saying 'chinese speaking preferred'. haiz

How come I never encountered this kind of things when I take public bus?
Oh, I forget I take only 3-4times public bus per year..
Another good reason ask me not to take public bus in sg.
Another source of donkey are sg school children and secondary student.

What I say is truth. Too bad this is the reality of pathetic situation of sg public bus service.I don't owe a car and I take cab only 3-4times per year! So what is good to brag abt? I am so happy, I don't depend on stupid sg public bus and I don't walk long distance...

lol... I think less people will take public bus and this is one big reason why many sg people still continue buying cars or motorbike/bicycle. -
If the roads are too jammed up also no use driving.
