STOMPer Vanessa contacted LTA regarding worn-out signs for Grandstand Road and Bougainvilla Way, but the authority has replied that they could not find Grandstand Road in their records.
If the roads really do not exist, then why's the sign left there to rot, questions Vanessa.STOMP did a street directory check and could not find the roads either.
In the STOMPer's email:
"I posted a feedback to LTA in early 2008 regarding old/worn-out signages for road names, Grandstand Road and Bougainvilla Way.
"Since then, I’ve received two replies from LTA with one saying there is no such road by the name of Grandstand Road in their record and another saying he does not understand what is my feedback about.
"How can they not understand what my feedback is about?
"Isn’t it pretty clear?
"Old road name sign. Must I take a photo and show them?
"After a year plus, the old signage is still at the same place.
"I wonder how could LTA missed out these two roads in their record makes me wonders how many more roads they could have missed out in total."
true enough?

why the person like nv mention where the signs are?
Air head.

you know how map makers are putting false info into their maps for copyright purposes, maybe LTA purposely missed these 2 roads on their maps and accidentally lost the correct records so now, even they cannot find the roads.
