Three died in this flaming car after it crashed into tree at Loyang AveSTOMPer Christian witnessed this shocking accident where a car crashed into a tree at Loyang Avenue and burst into flames, killing the driver and two passengers. He caught it on video.
“I believe the driver was trapped inside and I called the emergency hotline,” the 39-year-old managing director said.
“The car started burning up a few minutes after it crashed into a tree on Loyang Avenue at 9:15pm yesterday (May 21).
“The firefighters came about five minutes later and took about five to ten minutes to put out the fire.
“I checked reports about the crash this morning and I was dismayed to learn that the driver and his two passengers have passed away.”
According to newspaper reports, the three people were travelling in a Subaru car towards Changi Village when it crashed along Loyang Avenue and burst into a giant fireball.
Witnesses said the blaze was so big that it could be seen from several traffic stop lights away.
STOMP contacted the Police and a spokesman said:
“Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident which occurred along Loyang Ave towards Changi Village ion 21 May at about 9:10pm involving a car believed to have lost control.
“It collided into a tree at the central road divider and caught fire.
“The fire was subsequently put out by SCDF. The driver and the two passengers sustained multiple injuries and severe burns and they were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
“Witnesses are encouraged to call the Police hotline.”

Hmm... could have been saved... if passer by helped them out of the car in time as it was mentioned that after a few minutes, the vehicle burst into flame...
But also cannot blame... everyone is concern about their own safety...

Imagine stuck, with the engine sitting on your lap, casket fumes spewing out on you and the hot water boiling ur skin. If thats not bad enough , suddenly , petrol leak. And then fire.
