SAF guard dogs muffled & stacked up in cages in hot vehicle

Imagine being muffled, left in a small, cramped space in the hot, hot sun. That was the plight faced by at least four dogs being transported aboard this SAF vehicle.The STOMPer who came across this sight was appalled by this.
In an email to STOMP, he said:
"I was driving behind this SAF vehicle heading to Exxon Mobil along Jalan Buroh.
"I spotted at least four dogs muffled and which were standing in the cramped, stacked cages while being transported in the hot afternoon.
"As an ex-SAF I understand it can be very stuffy and shaky sitting behind in these SAF trucks.
"I don't understand why the dogs need to be muffled and cramped in tiny cages as this does not allow them to stick their tongues to cool themselves.
"I hope the welfare of this guard dogs is properly handled and they are transported safely."STOMP is contacting the SPCA for a comment. -

any guy would know thats a 5 tonne..
anyway 5 tonne can also squeeze 20 plus men i a tonner alr..
wats 4 dogs.

I was a dog handler back in my NS days. Yes i believe the welfare of the dogs is impt and there really isnt a need to muffle dogs and put them in the cage at the same time.

Hello, just before rage go over ur head to kill that dumb stomper .. Pls note that the vehicle is a 'MB', or 1 n 1/2 tonner ...
And that the vehicle should be for POI Ops at the Exxon Mobil facility heading towards their Command Post or vice versa. And i guess the dogs complain aint their vehicle. (though i have to admit that their cage looks cramped) But the hours of "duty" they too have to do ... -

The STOMPer was (I quote him), 'driving behind this SAF vehicle'. Italics for emphasis.
I seriously hope that it was his passenger that took the pic, for otherwise he'll be screwed for taking photographs while driving.

These are not ordinary dogs. They are being transported.
Therefore as many "what if" as possible, must be covered.
One being if the vehicle crashes, and a dog escapes.

The STOMPER can send in an USMS
Install air-con in all military vehicles for the welfare of dogs.

The dogs should be okay, since they can salivate their heat through their mouths.
But of course, every living things have got their limits.
Let's just hope that their destinations will be much cooler than their transportation.
