This is so dangerous, says a STOMPer, who attributes this heaving mass of people to the IT show at Suntec City.Aileen was at the underpass on Sunday Mar 15, and took these pictures at about 3:30 pm.
In her email to STOMP, the contributor said:
"This kind of jam in the underpass is dangerous.
"It is due to the IT show at Suntec City."I think it took about 30 – 45mins to get thru’ from Suntec City to CityHall MRT.
"It was dangerous, because if an incident occurs in the underpass; I’m quite sure a stampede will follow… and many people might be trap.
"There wasn’t any room to maneuver; it is as packed as sardines."

in the end, went up and enter through esplanade entrance... ...

Who says the country is not getting any more crowded?
Now imagine another 2 million people in the future to make the population hit 6 million.
That's a freaking 50% increase in population.

I was there also yesterday.. super crowded, even those buses like 106, 700A plys along the vicinity of Suntec City (fully packed).. Escalators are being regulated by the guards also.. sometimes i was forced to get out to a less crowded area (which is outside) while i was at exhibition hall 401, cos the hall is fully paked. =.=.
