Car crushed by fallen tree at Hillview AvenueSTOMPer jazzyblue was shocked to see this car crushed by a big tree which had fallen over and onto the car.
The impact of the fall caused the car's roof to be crushed inwards. There was also some visible damage to the bonnet.
A tow truck had come to tow to car away when jazzyblue saw spotted it.
He says in an e-mail dated March 4:
“What a sight at Lam Soon Industrial Building!
“I wonder if the car owner can claim insurance in this situation.” -

Yes we expect cars that are crushed to be crushed inwards n not outwards
Yes obviously there is damage to the bonnet

Tree felling on car is a serious matter in Singapore, equal to falling on a person and causing death.
