The real blame is people who want to love animals and then give excuse of no time and resources !!
One group of these people are the orginial pet owners - they happy want to love animals then buy one, but no time and resources or animals not what they expected, then did not bother to find another home. This is how stray cats & dog started !!!
The other group is the so call animal lovers ! they go around telling people to love animals, yeap encouraging tom, dick and harry to buy pets .... which become strays !!!
These are the people who cause the problem and should be blame for the issue.
Stray cats and dogs is harmful to the eco system, native species are threaten by them.
Shameful is to use the one's brain to give excuse of no time and resources, yet surprising have all the time and resources to surf and post here !!!
reality of life is that harsh.
i hoped the driver would have shown empathy through some actions.
have some respect for every living thing on this planet for you are not alone.

This indeed is sad .. He should stop and do something bout it (Provided it's not obstructing any traffic) but then again .. Sometimes if a car try to avoid a stray cat or dog .. It may cause chain accident which is even worst .. So realli got no choice so the best way is OPEN THE DAMN EYES and dun speeeeeeeeed.

Here a lot of people say the driver should have "do something" or "some action" ? Even now, behind a desk the answer is so inconclusive and undecisive, so open end type. If you are in driver seat, i bet with you would have drive on thinking "something" or "some action", till you too far away - which is a good excuse.
Since you all feel strongly - driver should do something or some action. Let say you are the driver - please specify out clearly what action you would really take, that would be practical and realistic ?

How about the bare minimum - moving the cat onto the pavement so that it doesn't get run over again?
I'm not making excuses as I already have pets. How about listening to your own words - be practical and realistic, how many strays can one take in? You cannot create more time, space and money just by "caring more".
Real animal lovers would never encourage other people to buy pets unless the latter have the means. Pet shop owners do not count. I'm sorry but you've betrayed your utter ineptitude once again.
