Basketball Action 2010
Since 2005, BBAXN basketball leagues have changed the face of Singapore
Basketball. All teams are provided a well organized amateur basketball
leagues all year round. From Basketball leagues, Cup tournaments, and
the BBAXN All Star Team, BBAXN now manages over 35 basketball teams,
with hundreds of players (both expatriates and locals) representing
over 20 different nationalities. Our plans for 2010 are well underway
and we expect the league to grow even stronger.
ADIDAS named Official Ball Sponsor of BBAXN Leagues…
In 2009, Adidas and BBAXN proudly announced its new partnership to
further promote and develop basketball in Singapore. Adidas Singapore
is the Official Ball Sponsor of the current season of BBAXN leagues. As
such, each active BBAXN team received an Official Adidas Prep
Basketball to be used in all BBAXN games. Furthermore, all BBAXN
players will enjoy privileged discounts on Adidas Basketball products
at TWO of its key Basketball stores at Suntec City and The Cathay.
SEASON 10 Men’s Midweek League Registration is NOW OPEN…
The Men’s Midweek League Season 10 will commence on 1st December
2009. The league will have TWO divisions and we encourage all
interested teams to REGISTER NOW as we only have limited slots
available.
The registration will close on 13th November or once we reach maximum

BBAXN is conducting player trails for TWO new basketball teams…
In line with our objective to revolutionize amateur basketball in
Singapore, BBAXN is managing the formation of TWO Men’s Basketball
teams, to participate in the BBAXN Men’s Weekend League Season 10.
Using the BBAXN “Player Looking for a Team” player list in the website,
BBAXN is looking to put together like minded individuals who all enjoy
the beautiful sport of Basketball, and to assist these players in
building their own team. BBAXN has a rich history of forming clubs
whether it be at the Men, Women or Junior Level.
BBAXN will host TWO basketball training sessions in October and
November wherein players will meet potential team mates and start
organizing the team. Friendly games will be scheduled to prepare the
team before the league commences in January 2010. In addition, we are
looking for dynamic individuals willing to become team managers and be
able to organize and lead the team! BBAXN will assist both new teams
all the way!!!
