hmm.. just came back from watching a movie with my fren "Make it happen" then me n my fren was discussing abt the movie. i dun knoe, i guess i was just thinking why most dancers would wear skimpy clothing. can't a dancer be fully covered up and also dance as well? oh well.. just a thought that's all.
by the way, the movie was great, love the dances moves in the movie though.
so can show the flexibility of the body swaying here and there
that's wat makes the people attracted to the movie..
so the clothes won't get in the way of the dance

hmm.. can also wear not so revealing clothing but yet have the flexibility to sway here n there, is that possible? like wearing something like wat ballerinas wear but not dancing ballet. another thought.

hmm.. like that ar? dancing is not always abt the sex thing right? it's abt expression of emotions?

meaning?

visual sense, the ballet always wear the tight thing.... and the guys also the tight pants....
dance need some variations, so wear diff thingie
Originally posted by hisoka:erm no need skimpy, but add more flair to the dance. but need relatively fitting or non-hindering clothing.
i was wondering got any dancer would be all covered up with tighting outfit? i got see contempary dancers wear like that before though.

don't get me wrong.. the media portray it that way. in fact humans are all this way too. dancing could be related as a celebration of the human body through movement. in a way a kind of art..
if u're talking about clubbing music, r & b rapp kind... it's not art but more like sleeze la.. a bunch of bikini girls dancing is more likely to attract more audience than a group of all wrapped up ladies.
those pple make the movies ultimately is not for artistic display but for money..
i'm not talking abt clubbing all this, talking abt dancing in general as a dancer
some its part of their dressing but some dress for the kill..

similar to why woman’s formal wear mostly is revealing one…
but woman's formal wear can be not revealing too i guess. just my view. oh well..
