  I think if these 2 teams smart, they will go for a draw, that way even if France or South Africa wins, it's still not enough points to get into stage 2.

  Usually when the whole world predicts a draw game, it will turn out not to be. Market forces will come into play. Mexico might nick this as it's too amazing to see Uruguay topping the group.

  Because the main outcome is not determined by the France v S. Africa game, France can score 10 goals against S. Africa, but if Mexico and Uruguay are willing to cooperate to get a draw, France will not be in the Top 16.

   

  If I was either Mexico or Uruguay, I would play an extremely defensive game.
