  apart from the few old birds i have never heard of any of the other italian players.  and after seeing them played the last 2 matchs i have to say none of them stand out. they are really average by italian standard.

  why do italian coaches favour camanorasi?  i have seen him played the last few touraments as well.  he is giving free run on the field but his vision and passing sucks. of all people why him?

  Italy is definitely weak in this world cup. Buffon is out for dunno how many weeks, so is Pirlo, their inspirational midfield playmaker. Iquainta and Gilardino are not exactly Tony Luca material. Italy had too many of over 30s. like Buffon 31, Zambratta 33, Cannavaro 36, Camoranesi 34, Pirlo 31, Gattuso 33, Iquainta 31
