Chelsea ace Anelka went ballistic at Domenech in halftime tirade
There are claims of a furious halftime bust-up between Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka and coach Raymond Domenech during their defeat to Mexico.
Anelka has unleashed a scathing attack on Raymond Domenech after being criticised at half-time during France's defeat to Mexico, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
Anelka told Domenech to "go screw yourself, dirty son of a whore" in the dressing room at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane after the coach criticised his first-half performance.
The outburst came after Domenech told Anelka to stop straying out of position during France's 2-0 defeat, in which the striker was one of his side's poorest performers.
When Anelka took issue with the criticism, Domenech threatened to substitute him, and the player unleashed his foul-mouthed tirade, reported L'Equipe.
Domenech's response was immediate.
"OK. You're coming off," the coach said, and Anelka was replaced with Andre-Pierre Gignac for the second half.

The French team has too many personnel with ego problems.
The coach, Gallas, Anelka, etc.
And especially Domenech. He shouldn't even be with the French team after exiting Euro 08 in group stages. Looks like yet another early exit this time round in World Cup.

Anelka have such an huge ego problem, Domenech would have done better had he taken Saha to SA... and perhaps done much better than Le Sulk too... Anelka has been quite useless for the French so far anyway...

Apparently there's a rift between the old guards and the youngsters therefore some were left out of the team.
No wonder Domenech kept bringing them out for bonding excursions, like go-kart and cycling.

more than half of the french team are blacks and if there is one trend about black players is they are generally poorer and much more inconsistent than white players. very few exceptions like drogba, eto, maybe evra

The coach should ditch those older and attitude players like gallas and anelka. the young represents the future and the old represents the past. if there is one group to be sacrifised, the older players should be ditched. how many more years can these oldies keep playing for france? euro 2012 the most?

in fact the french are famous about their ego thinking they are always better than others..... it's a nationwide problem..... u ask any european they will sure tell u about the french's ego... haha
