  Wayne's shoes are defaced by pranksters

  

  Wayne Rooney poses proudly with his England team-mates before heading out for a relaxing game of golf - unaware that he is the victim of a cheeky prank.

  He is pictured alongside team-mates Joe Hart, Michael Carrick, Glen Johnson and Stephen Warnock oblivious to the fact that somebody has scrawled the message 'FCUK U' on his left training shoe.

  

  And on his right shoe the name 'Floyd' had been written out.

  The naughty twist on the French Connection UK slogan was spotted as he had a day relaxing at the exclusive Sun City golf course.

  'Floyd' could be the loosest of references to his childhood nickname in Liverpool, where he was known as Jimmy, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, whom he emulated by celebrating scoring with a cartwheel? Some feared the player himself was trying to send out a message but it was apparent the Manchester United star didn't know he'd been targeted.
