yeah..i'm a noob in soccer bet. the most i buy is win, lose, draw.There's a bet type called "1/2 goal" in Sg Pools.
Usually the favorite team out of the 2 teams involved in a match will be assigned to "give ball" while the underdog team will "eat ball".
E.g. SA vs MEX, sgpool think that SA is the favorite, so SA will give 1 1/2 goals (-1.5) and likewise MEX will eat 1 1/2 goals (+1.5). This means that at the start of the game (0-0), the betting score is actually SA 0 MEX 1.5. SA need to win by 2 goals or above to clear this handicap, and likewise for people who bet on MEX +1.5, they just need MEX to NOT LOSE by 2 goals or above to win the bet.

looks like i was right not to bet on England beating USA, too bad England escaped with a draw !!
Germany will beat Australia for sure so bet on them big and then compound on Slovakia beating New Zealand !
Brazil (-2.5) vs Nth Korea not looking too safe ! this WC looking more and more like 1990 with very little goals and the ball seems to be making it difficult to score unless you got CRAP goalies like England !

i'm not betting on Holland-Denmark since Denmark aren't pushovers and can hold Holland to draw, not very safe !
if wanna bet - take Holland to win
i'm compounding my bets so i can't afford to take risky bets.
Italy-Paraguay also the same leh, Paraguay is another tough to beat team and Italy now weaker than ever and they tend to cock-up in early games.

you can win thousands on the trot but all it takes is one game to make u lose everything. The money isnt yours till you stop once and for all.

True. Bookie always win de. You can always win from Feb to April (For example), But you can LOSE EVERYTHING once you set a wrong bet.If sure bets, I think teams like Man U, Barcelona etc... can get more than 100 points liao. The best team may have to flop one of the times.
So, go work is a better choice. Only use 1% of profit to bet, xiao du yi qing, shi ke er chi. And I am glad to see that the queue in Singapore Pools is not long. Seem that people know the harmful effects of betting.
