Arsenal Turn Down Barca's £29million Cesc Bid

  Barcelona have confirmed they have submitted a written offer to Arsenal for midfielder Cesc Fabregas and are now in "formal" discussions.

  Barca director general Joan Oliver told the club's website: "Everyone knows that Cesc wants to play for this club and everyone knows that we also want this. But there is a third major player, which is Arsenal.

  "Any deal must go through them and June 1 was the beginning of the period of official negotiations.

  "Until earlier there were informal conversations, but since Tuesday these are formal - and the usual mechanism is to present a formal and concrete offer.

  "So on Tuesday afternoon, we submitted a written bid to Arsenal."

  Arsenal have turned down Barcelona's offer for captain Cesc Fabregas.

  The Catalan giants confirmed earlier they had submitted a written offer to the Gunners for the Spain midfielder and that the clubs were in "formal" discussions over a possible deal.

  But an Arsenal statement read: "Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is under contract with the club until the summer of 2015. He is a highly valued member of the team and part of our future plans.

  "We have followed recent speculation linking Cesc with a move away from the club but as there has never been any official approach for him, only two informal exchanges, in which we made it abundantly clear that we have no interest in transferring Cesc, we have refrained from publicly passing comment.

  "However, on Tuesday evening we received an offer from Barcelona for Cesc and in response, we immediately and resolutely told them once again that we have no intention of selling our captain.

  "To be clear, we will not make any kind of counterproposal or enter into any discussion. Barcelona have publicly stated that they will respect our position and we expect that they will keep their word."

  29million pound i can recommend barca following package

  1. bendtner + eduardo.

  2. almunia, fabaniski, denilson + carlo vela.

  3. walcott + eboue.

  make a choice barca. which combination you like? If u buy the above package i can add in a djourou as compliment.

   

  if villa at a older age commence more than 30million pound, cesc, much younger and 5 year contract to go.. will commence at least 45million. no money dont come arsenal and bid player.
