Bakary Sagna’s representative has rejected speculation that European champions Inter have sounded out Arsenal about the availability of the 27-year-old right back.
Sagna is reportedly seen as a ready-made replacement for Maicon at the San Siro if the Brazilian international goes through with his reported plans to follow Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid.
“No offers have come in so far,” agent Christophe Mongai told fcinter1908.it.
“Every big name player gets regularly linked with top clubs during this time of the year.
“But despite the spell that the Nerazzurri can cast, I can tell you that I have not been in touch with any of their officials.”
Sagna is in the France squad for the World Cup finals in South Africa and any deal to take him to the San Siro will probably have to wait until after the tournament.
“If someone wants to sign the player for next season, I’m sure they will make contact,” concluded the representative
