heskey missed a point blank header. I can score with my eyes closed with that kind of point blank range. that is why heskey only scored 7 goals in so many international games.

for england to win the world cup, there is only one coach who can succeed. he is mourinho. he is that brilliant as a coach, motivator and tactician that a team that play boring long balls can win the world cup.

i can't see the love or passion of the England players today except from a few...
I am not sure how Spain players play usually, but whenever I see them play, they are with confidence and being proud to play for the country. I don't see this with England players.
I read on forum posts describing that England has a decent football team, but the England media themselves are destroying the football team, which I think it is quite true.
Look at the scandals before World Cup, Lampard divorce his wife; Ashely Cole separation, Terry's teammate thingy. Exposing such news or affairs just unsettle the England team rather than giving them the support they need.

these are distractions that england doesnt need. but then dun deflect the issue that england is an overhyped team. I have been following england for so many years and I am disappointed when the competition ended. they do not play attractive football and always play the long balls for the striker to chase type. england in major tournaments, always found it hard to beat those so called lousy teams. they did beat them eventually, but did not beat them convincingly. skillswise, they are not as good as the spanish, brazilians, portugese and argentines and italians.

I think Japan has more problem. Can score three goals, opposition score zero and still lose the game, they are good lah.
