Should Inter be victorious in the
Champions League final against Bayern Munich in Madrid
tomorrow, it's believed that the club's coffers would be filled to the
tune of around €70m - due to UEFA awards, cash receipts
and TV rights, plus bonus on sponsorship, calling the advertising
contracts and participation in the European Supercup and World Club
Championship.
And Inter owner Massimo Moratti
will reportedly gift to the team the money in the form of three players:
Modric, Lazio
defender Aleksander Kolarov and Palermo striker Edinson Cavani.
Kolarov
and Cavani have been linked for months with moves to Inter and appear,
according to Tuttosport, to be guaranteed to be Nerrazzurri
players next season; however it is the move for Spurs playmaker which
will be of the most interest.
Inter have long admired the
talented player, since his time with Dinamo Zagreb, yet have never
previously made a move.
However, the Italian champions appear to
now be ready to make their move, following the player's terrific form
in the Premier League
where he has helped Spurs finish in fourth spot. They are believed to
be ready to use Sulley Muntari, the Ghana international who worked with
current Spurs boss Harry Redknapp during his
time at Portsmouth, as a bargaining tool.
However, the fee for
Modric would greatly eclipse the €21m he cost Spurs in 2008, whilst a
key point would be to see where the Inter hierarchy see him fitting into
a team that already contains Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder.

Great player shall think big. Small small club like Tottenham , how to match Inter?
