Filippo Inzaghi Signs One Year Extension With Milan
Filippo Inzaghi has reached an agreement with Milan and signed a new one year contract, the club said in a statement on Friday.
Uncertainty surrounded Inzaghi's future as his old deal expired in June, and he was linked with a move to Parma where he would have teamed up with life-long friend Tommaso Ghirardi.
However, the player can look forward to another season in Milan after CEO Adriano Galliani offered him a new deal.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"A.C. Milan communicates that the football Filippo Inzaghi has renewed his contract until June 30, 2011."
Inzaghi made his debut for Milan in September 2001 against Bate Borisov after joining from Juventus.goal.com

Inzaghi became the first striker to score in all international club competitions after his double against Boca Juniors during the FIFA Club World Cup final in 2007.
Inzaghi currently is the all time most prolific goal scorer alongside Raúl González (with 68 goals) in European club competitions.[4] He is also Milan's top European goal scorer in the club's history with 39 goals.

Filippo Inzaghi is still playing at the age of 37. He has still got pace, vision and scores alot of goals at this age. Italy has got veteran like Inzaghi, Brazil had Cafu, France had Zidane, Singapore has Duric and so on. Experience is what many clubs need to go further. Name me a player who is still playing past his prime! Teddy Sheringham is 44 years old and he still playing at a non-league side Becknham Town. He's a fox in the box. And that kinda ability doesnt change with age. Good to bring on as a sub though when you're needing goals.
