It's kind of sad to see Mourinho jumping from one club to another...for the sake of personal egoistic glory. He has no loyalty to the club. It would have been great to see Torres and Gerrard, 2 great players succeed at Liverpool. I hope they understand what loyalty is.

uhh.. Mourinho?
just curious, why do some clubs just want to empty their thrashes on others, and take the other clubs' crown jewels??
"City's top-brass value Adebayor at around £30m"... a joke..
Lol its a trap...

Huh ? Mourinho jump for clubs ??? What the F have to do with him in this thread ??
Stevie is Mr Liverpool (icon). Unlikely he will want to depart his beloved Club for any rivals in England (unless a opportunity to go overseas). He had turned down Chelsea before.. furthermore ManCity w/o UCL next season won't even tempt Torres... There are lots of speculation on possible transfers... but i can't see it happening before World Cup games...
Considering the financial situation at Liverpool, I won't be surprised if both Gerrard + Torres leave Liverpool :(
this deal wont benefit us on e field.
not that ireland and adebayor aren't good but they're not the type we're looking for.
we need to add in creativity.
throw in micah richards and 10m more, we might consider.

are you nuts? U selling your crown jewels for a Michal richards, when U got glen johnson, and Ade and Ireland?
U want Ade to lead ur attack next season instead of Torres??
Actually this deal seems quite good in my opinion... Cos Ade is as good as Torres if he is on form and he is also not as injury prone as Torres... And considering Gerrard's age, if you can even get $20m for him i think it's a good deal... Here they will get a much younger Ireland who isn't a rubbish player either... So good deal I say.

Then what? Keep asking Fernando to stay go through all shit with us?
He's a world class player who deserves medals.
Imo, I don't expect players to stick through thick and thin with us during difficult periods, like the current one. Especially nowadays, when money is ruling the footballing world. No doubts of course, I know that Fernando is one the lesser ones around who do not look up to '$$$'.
He gave us what we want already, goals. But we're not 'repaying' him with what he hopes? He joined us for medals, but till now he had none. Realistically, I don't see the team being able to win the league next season also, although, of course, I would very much want see that happen. No one will remember how good or pacy you're when you've nothing to show off.
He gave the club what he had/could already, he's a truely legend in my heart
Fair deal right?
Adebayor to replace Fernando? Not a very good one I would say, but don't expect City to come with Carlos right? lol.
Ireland okay luh, but definitely not in the same league as Steven or Frank.
Micah Richards can play in the center also. And imo, I would prefer him in the center than right-back. so.. ya.
I'm sorry but I don't think that what, Sotirios Kyrgiakos fellow is of any gooood.

Eh, actually you do have some sense there. It's like Ian Rush, leaving Liverpool to join Juventus, then after a year, found out cannot make it there faster run come back Liverpool be legend.

well, at least with Torres, around, still can threateh/bargain with owners to invest. else, U on a slippery slope..
True,For Club, honour, blah blah blah, but bottomline,Torres is not playing for free leh.
anyway, without Torres, like MU with Ronaldo, there will be suffering. Just can't imagine how deep it will be.

Ya luh, but what to do.. Can't always everything also put club first before players' one mah.
Imagine how Fernando is feeling now after putting his heart and soul into a club he supported since a child? I can feel for him luh, his frustration etc.
If he wants to leave, I wish him all e best.
Of course, i wish he will stay
To watch him play against us will be a ~!@#$%^&*() kind of feeling you know, lol.

aiyah, football, merciless thingy la.
How huh? if he plays for the blues, "JUDAS"??
Is Torres - 9 over-rated?
Blues as in Chelsea?
I wish him luck for 36 games of the season.
The remaining two, I hope he won't play, because it's again Liverpool.
this kind of rumours has no merit. would liverpool able to pay the kind of wages adebayor is getting? maybe pay straight 60million + ireland is more viable option.
i believe adebayor also wont leave man city coz he cant get the kind of salary from any other clubs. mercenary like him will know the maths.
gerrard is way past his prime. if anyone willing to pay 30million for him at 30 years old. sell la.

i think ade sucks.
