Report: Milan Want Liverpool Hitman Fernando Torres

  Milan are ready to make an audacious move for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres, reports Il Giorno.
  
  Torres, who has been a Milan objective for some time, is being monitored by club chiefs who are looking at making a serious move for him in the summer.
  
  The report suggests Torres has become less than satisfied with the lack of silverware at Anfield, and he has already expressed his desire to play for Milan.
  
  Furthermore, he is allegedly ready to take a pay-cut so he can complete a future switch to Italy.
  
  Il Giorno's claims have not been verified by Milan, Liverpool or Torres.
  
  Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko continues to be linked with a move to the Rossoneri, but his €40 million price tag is standing in the way of progress.

  Erm, i genuinely believe that Torres is worth more than Dzenko? So if Milan cant afford €40 million, how can they afford Torres despite an alleged paycut?

  note that liverpool will be selling torres because he wants to go, not because they need cash.

  maybe this season end, they offload, then can expand their budget mah.. Milan is one of the biggest club in italy.

  wrong, Milan is one of the poorest clubs now........that's why they buy and keep all the old farts..........

  no point even if they have 2 Torres...............the rest of the team is so crappy............they need to get rid of.......

  And just to add on, Carlo Ancelotti was Milan's coach from 2001-2009, and he preferred to stick to his old guards.

  Does it ever occur to you as to why Chelsea is fast becoming the next Milan with their ageing players? All the players that you've mentioned and termed as "old farts" are bought by Ancelotti. Does it ring a bell?
