I believe arsenal can win barcelona... but not with Sol campbell...
I want Gallas back. With a Gallas/vermaelen CB partnership, i feel more safe.
And with Sagna marking messi, i would be less worried. I seriously hope clichy improves his game these 2 weeks and be ready to take on thierry henry. Even if henry and messi switched flanks, both sagna and clichy should be able to defend against them.
Song and diaby must up their game to silence xavi and iniesta.
Whereas in attack, we must have fabregas at his peak. Arshavin and Rosicky must be fully fit and be at the top of their game. Hopefully we get RvP back, by the second leg, otherwise Bendtner must do his job!! This is the game for bendtner to show case his talents.
Bring on Walcott and Nasri to do further damage!! Attack the full backs of Barcelona, Maxwell and Alves, they are weak in defence.
Hopefully this time round, there will be no red cards!!!!
Arsenal will be home in the first leg and must keep a clean sheet no matter what...

arsenal need to man mark messi. if you allow messi to do his stuff, you are dead. he can create havoc with his left leg with his mazy dribble.

nah... the rest of the teams arent pushovers just because inter or utd are the big dogs here. bayern, though not what they used to be, still have many world-class players in them. cska moscow is the dark horse here too. -

Wahx!!! Liverpool should seek an ultimate avenge against Benfica. If Liverpool win, Benitez may have chance to face against his former club Valencia in semi-finals.

Arsenal weakess link is goal keeper and defence on counter attack, not much change from pervious meet up between the 2.
Draw at home and lost away, out they go.

I dun think it is a foregone conclusion. in 2007, liverpool met barcelona and knocked them out as hold of CL, when Bellamy scored one goal at the Catalan's home. alot of liverpool fans then also thought likewise, esp barcelona with ronaldino, deco, etoo and messi around, not to mention xavi and iniesta helming in midfield.
on paper, barcelona looks invincible, but they still have to deliver the goods on the pitch ya. even if arsenal were to go out, they would put up a good fight and not surrender meekly, like a pussycat. I dun think wenger will give up the tie without putting up a good fight. if barcelona wins, everybody will say I told you so, but if arsenal were to upset barcelona, it has a good chance to qualify for the finals and maybe win it too.

This is a disappointing season for spanish teams in the UCL, only 1 representative in the final 8. Both Real and Sevilla knocked out in the last 16 by weaker teams. And i don't even recall which is the 4th team that is most probably knocked out at group stage (anyone can help me recall)? The english's standard has dipped too, compared to their usual 3 or 4 teams in the last 8. Lastly, after observing the trends for the past seasons, i believe this could be another market manipulated season (sadly), and the crystal ball is currently showing either Bayern or Inter for the title, believe it or not. I should have placed bet on Bayern becoming champions when they were at 80 to 1 shot to win UCL when facing elimination at group stage with Juventus eventually eliminated! Missed the boat :(
