Torres is a good finisher, I don't think people should say he is lousy... His finishing is still one of the best but the only problem is, he is beginning to look like a young Kewell. He gets injured too often to be effective over a full season.
Another thing I feel for this comment could be... He is telling the board to give Rafa more money to buy players... The thing with this guy is, he is very loyal to Rafa. So if Rafa do get the sack, he will be one of the most disappointed one along with Kuyt, Reina and maybe Lucas... The rest probably won't care as much...

The price increase is because of the club he had arrived at, which is Liverpool. How much the next team pays doesn't make him any better, look at Berbatov, 30m but hasn't much really.

To be fair to Torres, I think $30 to $35 million is still worth it... But $40 to $60 million, it is a big risk to take...

I think there might be a reason and also the style he plays... The guy likes to take off very fast and run with quick twist and turns... I think players that like to do the twist and turns in quick speed gets injured more easily if they don't have strong knees... Like Kewell, a younger Duff, a younger Giggs, Lennon, Dyer, RVP, Rosicky, Saha... I think there is something to it... Some of them change their style of play like Giggs and Duff when they are older and don't get injured that often... -

Well, Ronaldo was different lah. He took more knocks than most but his physical built is also an area of his strength. But not everyone is like him lah... -
ronaldo wasnt as muscular when he arrived in manchester. He was maybe even skinnier than torres? Its a reault of his hard work in the gym n also at the football pitch that made him able to withstand the hackings and knocks, n using their strenght plus speed to keep defenders from trying to bring him down. So i tink its because those fast players like torres dun wna put in more effort to build up their body, n they paid the price for it. Its their attitude.
