  Doncaster offer John Rooney the chance to jump from League Two Macclesfield into the Championship

  John Rooney, Wayne’s younger brother, is wanted by Doncaster manager Sean O’Driscoll.

  The Macclesfield striker, 19, has already had a trial and is also being chased by Sheffield United.

  O’Driscoll is hoping to persuade Rooney he would be given more regular football at Doncaster.

  Wth? Playing for league 2 team? When wayne rooney was 16 he was already playing for everton 1st team. This guy is so far behind. Maybe this John is the adopted child of Wayne's parents.
