Spore team will not make it far.
So what if they beat malaysia, indonesia? Spore team are living withing his own nest forever. In no time, vietnam or even Loas will out run spore.
Our foreign imports are total flop. Only Jiayi show some good skills, the rest??? Cannot even run and chase (loose balls) and close up to the opponents.
Worst! Simple passes also cannot executed.
WOOHOO................YAHOOOOOO..............OLE OLE OLE OLE...............
S'pore is out.............hahaha...............hoohoohoo..........
what can be better ? Thailand to sack Bryan Robson..................that clueless fool...........
those 2 black players, Agu Cashmir and Precious..............both useless farts........one can't shoot to save his arse and the other can't defend to save his balls............
Agu is better off as a Cashier...............as for Precious ? i'll hate to see his brother, Useless in action..............
I think spore coach need them due to their size? But cannot play size also useless!
Chop players and coach!
No improvement at all.

Let me share with you one Unker Story
When I first came to Japan they just started the J-league and I played for an amatuer team which is now renamed as a 'Venforet' in J-2 league. At that time the level of soccer was so low that people who didnt know me or Singapore thought I was a Brazilian Japanese import player. Now ar I dont even dare to tell people that I was born in South-East Asia. From my experience I can tell you that Japanese people used to play soccer like cartoon people who didnt use brain but lots of sprinting and aimless running around on the field but now look at them.Soccer is not the main sport in Japan but the soccer developement programs for the youth are very good starting with teams of toddlers.
Too bad, when spore team under pressure, the passes also under pressure. The thinking go haywire and everything collaspe.
That is spore team.
Dont believe me, ask a thai side, score a quick 1 or 2 goal, and you can start to see spore crack, players play aimlessly and run as if gana hypotised. They not chasing balls, but chase shadow.
If I have a team that can think and work in pressure, play simple passes, fast in closing down players, know how to create open spaces, then my team will be able to beat spore. No magic. Just plain simple and accurate passes will beat spore.
Just follow my pool (billiards) philosophy and see if it could be applied to Singapore Soccer.
1) Learn all the basics down to every detail and take advance lessons from an expert and he will show you how it is practically done
2)Start sparring with reasonably skilled beginner and make sure you apply whatever skills and knowledge you have acquired to beat them
3) Go a step up by matching up with players who are levels above you.Together with the exposure you already have by now,you should be able to take them. You might win some or lose some
4) This step is the most important step to furthur your developement.
Never to lose any games to those who you have already beaten soundly in the past (several times)
Not even in a friendly game.
no need to go thru all that trouble lah..............just go to Brazil and find all those talented youngsters.............all them S'pore citizenship but let them stay in Brazil........10 years time leh, S'pore will be more than 50% as strong as Brazil liao.........
if we do the same nonsense in Argentina, Nigeria, etc etc...........even Brazil can't fight with us liao.............
the only native S'porean in the team will be the 3rd choice goalie.............LOL

hey short ninja, u've been banned huh? I tot ur nick was some silly clone lol. Yeh, the Japanese knew they would host the WC one day and they really got their act together. But since Nakata, there hasn't been a better player.

i have never heard of that movie man...
i just play street soccer and cage soccer regularly so i have seen some decent players. played with some malays who came from some s league team also before, pretty good. but i think they probably lack stamina to play pitch

I dont know much about the names and national team but common sense tell me that some of them must go
Raddy -The past few years he kept saying ,'If the team play and follow to my instruction they can overcome anything' That means he has totaly lost all clues on what to do and has washed his hands properly even before any blame can fly to his face.
Duric -Old legs, please either you retire this old horse to stud or you take a gun and put it out of misery. He should have played for Singapore 15 years ago not now as a good semi-retirement policy for himself
Precious Amujeyakumar (dont know his full name)- Even the sports writer at CNA had to use the word 'precious' twice ,as if to hint at something. This player talk big but fail big also and look how scary it is everytime Raddy endorse his faith in Precious Amujeyaratnam (sorry i really dont know his name) once even saying he is currently one of the best players for the Lions.
The others who play like pendulum sometimes ok and sometimes not so ok ...well what can I say?
Next will be the Asian games.
Lolx nia
Singapore out
so wad the big deal
it should be out man unless we kena gd manager ....

KNN peeple serious you play play
before we sling more mud, perhaps the key is to understand what's the goal set by FAS each season? what they really want to achieve, the report card?
maybe unknown to all of us, ironically, they feel they already over-achieved... KNS..
If this goes on, surely the overseas team (Most probbaly Etholie FC) can outcast the local teams in S League.
But Singapore had played against Liverpool and Poland before. Should have learnt from these two friendly matches.
OT: Despite being crown for SEA games for many times for polo ball team, they do not manage to crown in Asian Games and Commenwealth Games.
So, if Sinagpore wants to improve everything (crown in Asian, Olympics, Commenwealth etc...), train more players from Singapore Sports School, train more and organise the similiar competition like: YOG, and Asian Youth Games.
Maybe all of the polys can conduct their PE lesson for at least 1 hour.

Feels like instead of working harder to achieve more the whole team of regulars became like a family and got comfortable. It needs to be reshuffled from time to time but where to find players when he pool of talent from the S-league is so small and resources have reached it limits?
Singapore team CMI, i knew it ages ago
I tok it was no surprise that many years ago, i & my ball game buddies actually beat a team who challenge us a game & it turn out to be the national team(as rumoured by a nearby uncle) after their training sessions.
I was suspicious of the Lions qualities ever since.....
To improve, send many local players to overseas for few years.
Be it 2nd division in middle east, or brazil or agentina or europe or japan or korea etc...bettre than playing in s league.

I watched the full match and hoping they can at least get a draw!

Luckily Jordon never put into 3rd gear, or else spore malu!

Only time a Singaporean almost played in the J-league was when the Nagoya Grampas was intesrested in the Lions's 2nd choice keeper back in the early 90s.That mama broke his wrist while fooling around just a weekend before he was supposed to go to Tokyo to sign a contract.
