DECO : Let me leave Chelsea Ancelotti

  *DECO has told Carlo Ancelotti he wants to quit Chelsea.* It is another blow to the Blues after defeats to Inter and Manchester City plus the John Terry and Ashley Cole sex scandals. Deco said: "I want to go back to Brazil. I still have a couple of good years of high-level football in me but I want to be near my kids." Deco, 32, has a year left on his Chelsea deal but has asked the club to let him leave. He added: "Ideally, I'd like to go after the World Cup and I've been talking to Chelsea about it." Dad-of-four Deco has been a major player under boss Ancelotti, featuring in 24 games this term. He said: "It will all depend on Chelsea - if the club release me or let me go on loan. "I'm not going to rush to choose a new club but it's time to get back." Flamengo are among the teams to have expressed an interest in the Brazil-born ace, who plans to quit international football after representing Portugal at this summer's World Cup.

  Me too. My memory of him is way back when he was a star at Porto and the first few years at Barca. Anything else with regards to him is a blank after that period.

  deco and ballack are 2 non performing players at chelsea.

  thats the problem with older players.

  I dont think Chelsea intend to keep you roh. Even if Chelsea keep you, it was more like for a back up. Youngster Kakuta can step up and takeover your role...

  ballack got use. he is a midfield anchor and breaks up opponents play with tackles. he also good at 'getting free kicks'.

  deco too lightweight and occasionally loses the ball. he is not worthy of chelsea first team.

  chelsea now need to improve their defence, now it has more holes than swiss cheese.. terry is off form understandably, mikel is so lousy stand in for essien, and they need another defensive midfielder

  I feel they are still quality players and will show it at the WC. I think he and Ballack are somehow not inspire to play for Chelsea. They seem to be going through the motions only but I feel once they put on their national team jersey, they play like super stars again...
