Chelsea fullback Cole considers retirement

Chelsea star fullback Ashley Cole is considering his future in the game, it has been revealed.

The Sunday Mirror says Cole has told pals he may quit football.

The Chelsea star, dealing with the collapse of his marriage to pop star wife Cheryl Cole, is at a Biarritz rehab centre recuperating from the broken ankle he sustained three weeks ago.

The fact that his divorce was sparked a by a series of love cheat exposes has piled more pressure on the 29 -year-old England international.

Cole’s confidantes admit he is in turmoil and has talked about walking away from football. They believe they will eventually persuade him to battle on.

seriously, i dun see him retiring at all, yes he might be alittle wear out given the pressure he had recently.. but a typical cheat like him will used whatever he could just to try to cope with potential collapsed of his marriage with Cherly Cole and when it really turns out that all this are not getting anywhere he will just forget the whole issue and contuine bplaying

he is 30 this year already. he has been playing for england, like since 2001.

That's the problem when you have too much money and don't know where to spend. All soccer players should just donate a portion of their mammoth salary to charity.
