Tottenham's preparations for their crucial Premier League clash against Everton on Sunday have been thrown into chaos after a virus has hit the club.
Wilson Palacios and Vedran Corluka are both major doubts for the crunch match after being struck down by the sickness and diarrhoea bug which has swept through Tottenham's training ground.
Spurs base in Chigwell, Essex is off limits to the media, with manager Harry Redknapp holding his pre-match press conference at White Hart Lane instead.
Virus: The north Londoners have been hit by a virus ahead of Sunday's game
'We've closed the training ground. Everything is off limits,' Redknapp said.
'We're just going to train there and that's it. You couldn't even get a cup of tea over there. Everything has been shut down. The doctor has come over and had a look and decided we have to get out of there.'
The Tottenham squad are no strangers to sickness bugs after they were infamously struck down by a simliar virus on the final day of the 2005/06 season. Spurs blamed a dodgy lasagne as they lost to West Ham and subsequently missed out on a qualifying place for the Champions League. And to make it worse, arch-rivals Arsenal stole the spot.
De ja vu.
