And it was knoked down by Berbatov. Hehe.
BAck to topic:
Aston Villa is OUT of fighting top 4
Is Villa ever in contention in the first place?
I dunno who wrote the article in the OP but obviously dunno much abt Villa!
Villa has one of the smallest squad in EPL and MON practically played his best 11, game in game out thru out the season, which by this time of the year, injuries and fatigue start to creep in and performance start to fall.
Do you know that since MON is the manager for Villa, he has not won a single EPL match during March every year except this year where he beat Wigan, which btw a statistical fluke in Villa case? LOL
Do you also know that for the last few matches, Villa have a few players playing with pains, for example Milner, Dunne and Heskey, and during Chelski game , Gabby was obviously not match fit yet and yet he was pushed out to face them!
That is why not many pundits rate Villa high on getting 4th place!
A easy win for Pool takes them only 4 points behind Spurs who start what could be a tough April month for them...
April fixtures for Spurs
3 Sunderland (A)
10 Arsenal (H)
17 Chelsea (H)
24 Man Utd (A)
Table at the moment...
Spurs Play 31 / Points 58 / GD 28
Liverpool Play 32 / Points 54 / GD 21
Man City Play 30 / Points 53 / GD 16
Villa Play 31 / Points 51 / GD 11
arsenal chelsea man utd in a straight row waiting for spurs.
omg, tough time ahead man, esp when all 3 are still in the race for the title
i think it's a good time for utd and liverpool to be nice to each other.
utd to beat spurs for us
we beat chelsea for utd
help each other abit lar

really? U pool fan can tahan mu smashing your record # of titles? don't joke la..
uh why not?
records are just records.
facts are there for everyone to see, liverpool have not been playing well, 19 years without the title already. on the other hand, utd have been performing well over the years, by this they deserve the title more than us.
so why not stand up and congratulate our rival on achieving what we couldnt, instead of mocking and pointing _|_ at each other? nicer place and rivalry to enjoy right this way?

Arsenal match will be on 14th since Spurs will be playing Pompey on the 11th in the SF of the FA Cup.
It is a tough fixtures coming April, but Spurs will have Defoe, Corluka and King back for the fight and possibly even Lennon as well as he was seen sitting on the bench with the team on Sat, perhaps the surprise that Redknapp wanted to unveil later.
The long term injuries are Cudicini,Woodgate,Jenas & Lennon? , so I believe Spurs will certainly give a good fight against Chelsea and Arsenal as they are at home, especially Spurs are in good form atm with 5 consecutive PL wins.

well, U are the most civic pool fan i met so far then.
U will never believe the pool fans I met (my colleagues & friends) who would want MU to lose just that Pool get their records intact. But I guess they are a minority. :P

but then it's understandable why fellow fans couldnt accept it luh.
the rivalry between the two had been going on for years already, way before im born.
in this forum, only rival fans will thik that im 'civic' or reasonable and so on.. fellow fans say that im a trailor, 'fake' pool fan and so on..

They can fight for 4th place if they they gave up FA Cup and the League Cup...Sadly they want to contest at 3 fronts = fatigue.

i second that...you are a pathetic fake reds fan.
reach out and congratulate man u fans for being the outright most successful club in the epl?? you are a bloody nut case if you are a liverpool fan doing so. friggin' leeds fan won't do so even if they are in league 1 now.
do yourself a favor, check yourself into broadmoor. there, the liverpool and man u fans kiss each other on a daily basis.
i give as good as i get from man u fans without getting physical n that is part of the fun of being a true supporter of any club. as for you, the m62 is built for people like you...so do us all a favor, take a hike.
Man city, Spurs, Aston Villa to get the fourth spot. I just hope Rafa go Real Madrid. and Torres leave the club.

Fatigue, a bit perhaps but in the month of Feb, Spurs were playing mid week matches almost every week, but Spurs has a big squad with capable replacement, so it should not be a very big problem.
Plus Palacios,BAE, Hudd, Defoe,Bentley,Pav, Gud,Kranjcar,Corluka,Kaboul etc all have been rested due to injuries or rotations during Feb or Mar, the only players that played non stop for the couple of months were Dawson,Bassong, Gomes, Modric & Bale.
Dawson & Bassong could cover by King and Kaboul,Gomes should not be a problem unless injury, Modric is tough and Bale is young and could probably play like that for another month or so.
Spurs atm are in form and have good strength in depth, none of the top 3 will be taking it easy especially away at WHL.
city beat wigan to move further up.
its now between city and spurs.

i am sick n tired of his whining, cowardly and chicken shit attitude towards liverpool, a club he purportedly supports. i dun follow his sissy posts but whenever i come across this chap, 8.5 out of 10 of his posts on liverpool are dissing the reds. who the hell does he think he is???
if poignant is a non-liverpool fan who's dissing liverpool, i would not have felt as insulted.
i am not happy with how liverpool is performing this season, nor do i agree with some of the tactics or team selection rafa makes; but i don't go wash dirty linen in public at every opportunity. this poignant thrives on such things. he is a bloody kop-out.
i tell you what is respect. i know a mutual friend who is a leeds fan. even tho' leeds is a pale shade of what they were in the 90s, this guy still wear the leeds jersey with pride and makes his annual pilgrimage to elland road to catch his beloved team plays. when we chat about our respective clubs, he has got nothing but admiration for leeds. altho' he didn't like that leeds is languishing now, he didn't go on a bashing overdrive like this joker poignant.
lastly, i wonder if he and limpper is the same person. the latter is another so-called liverpool supporter who loves liverpool bashing. how the hell liverpool manage to net such sissy supporters here in singapore baffles me.
must be the liverpool curse.....

hmm, dedicated leeds fan, kudos.
well, sometimes, some will want to whine and unleash a bit on their favourite club's misfortune, while some just hang on and pray. U can't fault either.
cheers.
glory glory the reds
I dun think liverpool will finish top 4. its either spurs or man city now.

agreed
i believe it will be man city as tevez is really in a scoring mode right now
I was ridiculed before, for saying that liverpool might not finish top 6 even, never mind top 4. I just say, maybe, just maybe liverpool may not even finish top 6.
