JOSE MOURINHO says he is ready to shock English football again - by dumping Chelsea out of the Champions League.
The former Blues boss tackles his old club next week determined to cause an upset. And the Inter Milan coach is typically confident, saying English clubs are not as good as they think.
Mourinho said: "It's difficult for the English to hear some things... but not everything in English football is perfect. There are bad things, too - in England teams have to be more tactical and less emotional.
"So while it is a tough draw for us, it is also a tough draw for Chelsea - and we will be going for it, that's for sure."
Mourinho, 47, is relishing the challenge and takes inspiration from his trophy-laden time at Chelsea when he made the Blues the No 1 side in the land.
He recalls how the sceptics predicted he would find life "tough" in the Premier League when he arrived in west London in 2004. And Mourinho laughs because three years later he left having won six trophies, including two League titles.
He added: "Everyone said English football was so special that it was impossible for someone to arrive and win in their first year. "But I arrived, won, and turned all that around. That caused an impression. It went down in history.
"But some English were pained because 'the Portuguese' arrived and cleaned up in an instant, hurting their pride."
Not that Mourinho cares much about what anyone else thinks - he is too focused on doing it his way. He added: "People say I'm arrogant. They say I stir up trouble. But I have stuck to my ideas and feel that I have been proved right in my approach.
"I've been strong enough to stick to my ideas, to not lose my identity and, of course, with victories things became less difficult."

I dun think so. Chelsea will dump Inter out, just like united dumped inter out last season. Inter's record in CL is abysmal.

i doubt inter can beat chelsea.
but then you never know in football.
more shocking things have happened before.

Actually i think Inter and Chelsea's strength are on par. Both pack their squad with tall and strong players.
However, i believe Chelsea will have an edge over Inter based on the fact that the core of the team has been unchanged since Mourinho's era while there's a major overhaul of players since Mourinho taking the helm at Inter.
