I think the problem isn't where you take it, Cos be it inside or outside the box, it is aim to catch the opponent off guard. A few teams have taken quick free-kicks even from outside the box and scored from it... And most of them are even direct free kicks. In this case for instance, it was an indirect free-kick therefore the gunners defence should have no excuse not to pick up on the other man rather than letting their guard down...
Kinda reminded me of the free kick Arsenal took against Chelsea. Hmmm......
Anyway, it's time Gunners get a new top goalie! The 2 can't make it. How abt Marounne? Why isn't he playin?
the goalie kinda of obedient, throw it to the ref when he asked for it. what the goalie should do is, he should hold on to the ball and retreat back to his line. if the ref continue to ask for the ball, nvm, just play acting by arguing with him and refuse to hand the ball to him. the most is the ref booked him for a yellow card, no big deal. it shows the naivety of the goalie.
Yeah...inexperience is the word.
The first goal was a joke...jelly hands from Fabianski. How can you make such a mistake?
The second goal, nuff said....
Oh yes...btw partially I guess the players didn't have understanding between each other man... Campbell is a d!ck for kicking the ball to fabianski when it was rolling towards him
I think most defenders will pass it to their goalie. some more campbel is not as mobile as he used to be. fabinski is so inexperienced to pick up the ball. or he did not see that campel has actually kicked and passed the ball to him. if this is true, his concentration levels is not good.
Nevertheless, Arsenal will probably still turn it around in the second leg la.
