Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano is set to spark a summer bidding war between mega rich rivals Manchester City and Chelsea after the Brazil star sounded out a potential big-money move to the Premier League.
Fabiano, who missed a penalty in the 1-0 exhibition against England last November in Qatar, has a year to run on his current contract with the La Liga club.
The 29-year-old hitman has struck eight goals in 12 games for the Rojiblancos having formed a fruitful partnership with ex-West Ham and Spurs frontman Fredi Kanoute.
Changing man: Luis Fabiano insists he is happy at Sevilla put hinted things 'could change' with one year left to run on his contract
And although the Brazilian admits he is content with life in Spain, he has alerted a host of prospective suitors with his admission that 'anything can happen.'
'I have a year left on my contract and am happy at Sevilla. But things can change very quickly,' he claimed in The Sun.
'I do not want to speak about my future at the moment because we are
just thinking about the Champions League and the Spanish league where
we still have a lot to play for.'
On the move; Fabiano has not ruled out the possibility of one day playing in England
The Brazilian would command a fee upwards of £10million which Sevilla would find difficult to refuse he the striker opts to stall over a fresh deal.
With Robinho keen to prolong his short-term loan stay at Santos permanently, Manchester City could swoop for his services with Chelsea also seriously interested.
go gunner maybe better
after the antics of brazilians who love to club and return to brazil to celebrate xmas, not advisable to buy brazilians. brazilians are talented and have lots of flair, but they are ill disciplined and love to club, esp the nightlife.

hmm, it seems they don't generally fit well into the EPL.. but I do rem former Gunners captain, he seems to be quite disciplined - Gilberto?
15 million pounds for a 29 yr old?
chelsea should avoid signing old players. the club is fast becoming an old folks home.
i hope fabiano doesn't find a new club in 2010 and 2011. then in 2012, he will be begging other clubs to take him in, rather than toying with them.
