Heard Seedorf scored a stunning back heel .
Dun know how stunning ?
Wayne Rooney scored 2 goals ?
Well done typical hungry Rooney .
David Beckham got play ?
MU got score lucky goals ? As usual when needed ?
Seedorf's goal was a beauty,assisted by Ronaldinho.
Beckham played and was subsituted.Nothing much from him except a free kick and several nice long passes.
Scholes's goal was lucky.
scholes miscued his volley and hit his shin I think. was a lucky goal. Milan had most of the ball in the first half. Huntelaar had the chance to make it 2-0, but he shot wide off the goal before scholes lucky goal. Pato had a chance to make it 2-1, but his headed missed the mark before Rooney scored 2 goals from headers. Seedorf made it 3-2 and Inzaghi had a chance to level 3-3, but his scuffed shot wide of the post. United can even afford to lose 1-0 in the return leg at home due to 3 crucial away goals for the away team. good result.
expected win for the devils.

didn't really expect that, because Manchester United's record on italian turf is bad as hell though
what's the big deal about beating a bunch of old farts waaaaaay past their expiry dates.............
whats the problem with Milan, esp when they have so many 30 plus players. their owner is the PM of Italy and one of the richest men in Italy. maybe the economic realities made them very conscious of costs, esp after they have sold kaka for 56m pounds to RM. I guess the 56m received has gone to pay their debts.
Dida 35
Bonera 30, Nesta 33, Favalli 38, Pirlo 30, Gattuso 32, Seedorf 33, Inzaghi 35, Ronaldino 30 next month
thats 9 players aged 30 and above omg.
thats the hallmark of a great side. not playing well and yet come away with a big victory away.
it's a case of taking chances.
milan created more, but miss most of them.
utd created not as much, but took their chances real well.
dun think Milan is truly dead after this result. they are capable of beating United at Old Trafford. but then United is also capable of scoring a few goals to bury Milan at OT.
all it takes is an early Milan goal and United is under pressure early in the game. I think Milan will look to score an early goal and then play a soak and counter attack strategies. Milan will hope United will squander as many chances as they created at San Siro.
i watch the goals...milan keeper like dreaming.

carrick was given a second yellow card for kicking the ball away, but it was not captured I think. initially thought the ref gave a wrong yellow to wrong person, but it was not. did yuo see fergie giving a one finger point to the assistant ref?

Centre of attention: Wayne Rooney is mobbed by team-mates
Wayne Rooney was hailed the 'English phenomenon' by the Italian press after the Manchester United shattered AC Milan's dreams of Champions League glory.
La Gazzetta dello Sport described the Barclays Premier League champions as 'like an Italian team for another era' after Sir Alex Ferguson's men overturned a woeful record against Milan to win 3-2 in the Champions League last 16, first leg on Tuesday night.
'Manchester United conquered San Siro,' said Gazzetta. 'They did it by beating Milan 3-2 in a match of contrasts: United were outplayed in the first half but then turned the tables in the second-half, mainly thanks to Rooney.'
Corriere dello Sport agreed that Fabio Capello's great World Cup hope was the main man.
'Milan creates, Rooney destroys,' they said. 'Milan dominated the encounter but still suffered defeat, mainly because of Rooney, the English phenomenon.
'Milan will now have to complete an almost impossible mission at Old Trafford to go through to the next round.'
Corriere della Sera mused: 'The first challenge between "The Devils" goes to Manchester United. The Red Devils prevailed 3-2 over the Rossoneri Devils, who had taken the lead through Ronaldinho after three minutes but then conceded to Paul Scholes in the first half and twice to Wayne Rooney after the interval. A late goal from (Clarence) Seedorf gives Milan some hope for the second leg.'
