Computer nut: Liverpool ace Glen Johnson
Glen Johnson has won all the trophies with Liverpool on Championship Manager but now wants to do on the pitch after recovering from a knee injury.
The Liverpool right-back admits playing computer games help him deal with the boredom of being out for so many months.
But now Johnson has had enough of playing Kop boss on the computer and wants to get back to playing again.
'I'm sick of TV now,' he said. 'When you're confined to the couch you'll look at anything. Thankfully Championship Manager got me through that time too. I won everything with Liverpool.'
Johnson, who has worked under several big-name coaches, including Fabio Capello, Jose Mourinho and Harry Redknapp, says Liverpool's 'real' boss Rafa Benitez has his own style.
'It is all football with Rafa, but that's not a bad thing,' he said.
'Obviously he clearly loves the game and wants everyone to improve and do well. As a player you can never complain about that.
'Just
as every man is different, every manager is different too. Every boss
has their own way of doing things and their own style. Rafa is like
that too.'
i bet Johnson will be a better coach than Rafa...............i believe even in the computer game, Rafa got Liverpool relegated...........
