Manchester United's Wayne Rooney has won the Barclays player of the month award for January, with Everton boss David Moyes the top manager.
Rooney collects the accolade after a series of outstanding performances helped maintain the Red Devils' Premier League title push.
The England striker scored six goals during the month and in doing so soared to the top of the Barclays Race for the Golden Boot, becoming the first player to reach 20 goals this season.
Rooney, who has scored 20 times in just 23 Premier League games this season, joins Steven Gerrard in winning the award for a fifth time.
January's manager of the month is Moyes, who wins the award for a sixth time after his Everton team registered three wins and a draw in the Premier League.
The decisions were made by the Barclays awards panel, which includes representatives from football's governing bodies, the media and fans.
