Inter coach Jose Mourinho or starlet Mario Balotelli could be leaving Inter this summer because of friction between the Nerazzurri duo, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
After Wednesday's 1-0 win over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia,
coach Jose Mourinho reprimanded the striker for not adhering to his
defensive responsibilities and the 19-year-old was visibly upset when
he was substituted in the 68th minute.
The report suggests that
this latest row between the coach and player is a symptom of a larger
problem and that one of them will leave the Giuseppe Meazza at the end
of the season.
Mourinho, who runs a tight ship, is obviously
unimpressed with the player's attitude and with the arrival of Goran
Pandev this winter, has further options up front in addition to Diego
Milito and Samuel Eto'o.
However, Balotelli is considered one of the best young talents in Serie A,
if not the world, and has produced goals and assists when called upon
this season. His future at the club will depend on if management
consider the youngster to be a 'lost cause' or not.
However, president Massimo Moratti
will be hopeful of holding on to both Mourinho and Balotelli, as they
are both contracted to the club past the end of the current campaign.
