Man Utd playmaker Anderson in new Fergie bust-up

Anderson is in hot water at Manchester United.

The Sun says the Brazilian midfielder, 21, did not appear at training yesterday.

He is reeling after feeling the full force of boss Alex Ferguson's hairdryer and being dumped from the squad against Hull. Anderson was blasted in the dressing room for his dire display in the 2-1 Carling Cup defeat by rivals City last Tuesday.

He was then furious to be told on Saturday morning he was not even in the squad for that day's league clash with Hull.

Anderson, who insists he was fit to play, did not even stay to watch his team in action. And yesterday he did not appear for training. Anderson's form has been poor this season while the player has been upset at his lack of action.

Man Utd ready to sell AWOL Anderson

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to fine and sell Anderson after he want AWOL this week.

He flew home to Brazil where he met Vasco Da Gama's director of football Rodrigo Caetano, when he should have been training in Manchester.

Caetano denied the meeting in Rio was about a possible transfer.

He said: "He's a great kid but, in terms of trading him, it's very unlikely.

"He has a good contract with Manchester and I cannot keep feeding this type of pipedream."

But United will now listen to offers for the central midfielder, who signed from Porto for £18million in July 2007, says The Sun.

Ferguson will fine him the maximum two weeks' wages.

Ya, it seems to be the current trend. Ronaldo started it Adriano did it. Robinho is following suit and now Anderson.

Anyway, i think United would be better off investing on better disciplined individual rather than a crybaby who hasn't improve much over 3 years.

I'd love to see Lee Cattlemole in United colours.
