Manchester City officials arrived at Goodison Park yesterday to be greeted with a scathing match programme column from Everton boss David Moyes.
Moyes accused City in his programme notes of "breaking the rules" and having "no class" in their pursuit of Joleon Lescott.
The England defender moved to Eastlands for £22million in the summer following a protracted transfer but sat out the match because of a knee injury.
The Everton manager was delighted after seeing his team defeat City 2-0.
