Chris Waddle did well at Marseille for 2 seasons.
Des Walker(Does anyone remember him at all? He was from Nottingham Forest, played for England in Italia 90) was a flop at Sampdoria.

What i remember most about Des Walker is his classic own goal in the FA cup final against Tottenham in 1991. It was a wonderful moment for me as i grew up as a Tottenham fan. Totally forgotten about Sharpe. Platt was a good player but hopeless manager. -

(if I am not wrong).

well, to go back to intent of the topic, all footballs fans are fanatic in one way or other. Dependingly, some are with bigger hearts and maturity than others.However, I felt that we should all respect whatever is shared/communted, if it cheez you off, just dont' reply. No harm.
