Despite playing a key role in last season's push for the Premier League crown, Macheda has featured little this season for the Red Devils.
Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be keen to tie up a loan move for the 18-year-old for the second half of the current campaign.
With
Newcastle thought to be interested in signing the player on a temporary
basis, Ferguson is more inclined to send out the player to the Spanish
top-flight rather than the Championship.
Gerard Pique embarked on a similar path during his time at United before leaving for childhood club Barcelona.
wah lau.. sian
... Lolx
I hope Zaragoza doesn't take him away!!
on loan nia, not buy, lol.
ok mah, let him go out to this real world and learn more.
who knows he might come back stronger?
they will be looking to sell either welbeck or macheda now that they got the permit for Diouf. From the looks of it, they would want to keep macheda, send him out on loan and sell Welbeck during the summer.
Macheda isn't necessary a great player. He has potential but he is still a long way to becoming a top striker... Letting him go and experience other league and get more play time is also a good way for his football education... He may even improve his profile during his loan move and command a better price should they decide to sell him later... Is he better than Rossi? In my opinion, I don't think so yet. He has good potential but god potential don't always work out. But if they can get $4 or $5 million for a youth player, it still represents a good deal.
On another note, United raise quite a lot of money from their youth players every season or two... Fraizer Campbell, Pique, Richardson, Rossi, Shawcross, Bardsley and that African boy Manucho..lol.
And in the past... They also sold the likes of McShane, Higginbotham, David Healy...
But so far they have refused to sell Jonathan Evans, Fletcher and Gibson...
