  Liverpool planning to offload trio to fund moves for Carlton Cole and Victor Moses

  

   

   

   

  Liverpool hope to offload Ryan Babel, Andrei Voronin and Andrea Dossena in the transfer window to free up cash for new signings.

  Boss Rafael Benitez is hoping to move the trio on after fielding calls for the stars in recent weeks.

  Babel is wanted by Bayern Munich, Dossena by Napoli and Voronin is interesting Panathinaikos, although Liverpool will have to take a hit on the £18million they splashed out to land the internationals.

  Benitez wants the money to fund moves for West Ham frontman Carlton Cole and Palace winger Victor Moses.

  He said: “We know at this time that we have to manage the squad and try and do some changes in the transfer window.

  “Normally, players that are not playing will be looking at other options, especially with a World Cup coming up.

  “There has been interest in some of our players.”

  Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has confirmed he hopes to offload fringe players in January.

  The Sunday Mirror says Liverpool hope to offload Ryan Babel, Andrei Voronin and Andrea Dossena in the transfer window to free up cash for new signings.

  There was a report I read on why Andrei Voronin and Andrea Dossena are still at the club cos Rafa wants to sell high... He have priced them out of other clubs reach... This guy always want to sell high high and buy low low... lol

  Rafael is simply idiotic... I hope no one buys Dossena and Voronin, and therefore liverpool will have no funds, absolutely no funds to revive their season..

  difficult to sack him, as need to compensate him and his coaches for 20m. the owner is broke and doesnt have these kinda of cash to sack him, unlike roman at chelsea.

  Ah Ben have to work with what he have.

  The squad cannot improve anymore even if they buy players from other BPL clubs.

  Sacking him at this moment will not solve any issues.

  He have to stay with the ship even if it is sinking.

  As for the owners, unless mdm ho's son is a Liverpool fan, I dun think the prince would want to buy the club at this moment.

  Liverpool is destined to be the next Leeds United.

  2010 will be the worst year in Liverpool football club history.

  Actually Voronin after his loan deal in Germany, They wanted him to stay but the price Rafa expects scare potential clubs away... And Dossena, an Italian international... is also wanted back in Italy, again just the price standing in the way of his move back home... On Babel, I think many clubs would want him if the fee can be negotiate...

  Rafa if he really can't work with them, he should move them on asap. A little lesser shouldn't hurt... Its better than making them stay and they can't play to his style or liking and still take up valuable funds with weekly salaries and deny some extra funds for the Jan window.

  I think he should still be able to generate about $15m for the 3 of them... $8 for Babel, $5 for Dossena and $2 million for Voronin...
