Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that six of England's best could make it into the line-up of any country in the world.
The Italian insists that his own trio of John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole, along with Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard, and Manchester United's Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand would be welcomed into any other side.
"I think England have six top players," Ancelotti is quoted by The Times as saying.
"There's my three - Lampard, Terry and Ashley Cole.
"Then there's Rio Ferdinand, who's not having a good time of it now, but who is a great defender.
"Then Gerrard, and I’d put Rooney in too.
"Maybe Spain [have as many] but Brazil definitely don't have six of them and neither do Italy."
Can they win the World Cup?

no. unless the world cup is staged in england next year.
England team is not up there with the likes of brazil or even Italy or Spain. England can just be in the top 10, but never in the top 5 nations in world football.
I think the 1990 england team was better than the 2009 team. they got shilton, bryan robson, paul gascoigne, gary lineker, peter beardsley, david platt, chris waddle, john barnes and they came in fourth, losing to west germany in the semi finals pk.
Lampard, Terry and Ashley Cole ???? who are they??? compare with other old England player.. they are nothing....
ya lor. lampard when compared to gascoigne or robson, is nothing.
as for terry, terry butcher was so much better than him.
yea i think spain got better world class player.
hmm..
