Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti believes the Premiership is set to be dominated by Italian coaches in the future.
Italian bosses do not have the best track record for success in this country, and no Italian has ever led a club to Premier League glory.
But Ancelotti said: “We have a great opportunity to go down in history in this country as the first Italian to win something over here, no?
“That’s good news for me. And also for Fabio Capello!”
Ancelotti claims Italians are all the rage right now because they have a better grasp of tactics than their English counterparts.
Ancelotti said: “There aren’t only good coaches in Italy. Italian football is a different experience. If you train in Italy, it’s a good grounding.
“There are a lot of systems of play and you have to work in your mind to find a solution to combat many different systems.
“But in England, a lot more teams just play 4-4-2.”
