Roberto Mancini could seek to replace unsettled Craig Bellamy at Manchester City with Sampdoria ace Antonio Cassano.
The Daily Mail says Cassano has undoubted ability and Mancini is a confirmed fan, having tried to sign him at Inter.
The £22m-valued forward turned down City after leaving Real Madrid two years ago but he has fallen out with Sampdoria.
Cassano is a secondary striker and Mancini may opt to fill other positions first - unless Bellamy decides to demand a move away.

Anyway, 22M is alot of money for a downhill striker and isnt City squad already filled with strikers? Even with Bellamy's departure, they still have Robinho, Adebayor, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Bojinov, Benjani, Caicedo and Jo? 
City needs a good backline cos Given has been saving City's Rs this season. Toure is itching to jump ship, Lescott looks lost, Bridge is getting old, Micah Richards has lapse of concentration.
