Chelsea are set to launch a January move for West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green, according to a report from The Daily Express.
Concern is apparently growing at Stamford Bridge over the current form of Petr Cech, and the Stamford Bridge hierarchy believe that England international Green represents a ready-made replacement.
Cech has often looked indecisive at set-pieces this season, with 11 of the 13 goals conceded by the Blues coming from dead-ball situations.
With Aston Villa and Sunderland also reportedly keen on Green, Chelsea are believed to want to move swiftly to seal a deal for the England international.
Should Villa sign Green Brad Friedel could well move in the opposite direction.
green is good, but i dont think he belongs to top 4 quality
They just want to frighten Cech into performing i guess...
Or maybe want to replace that Hilarious, opps... Hilario...
