Real Madrid to invite Man Utd bid for Benzema

Manchester United are to be offered an amazing SECOND CHANCE to sign Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.

The Daily Mail says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a keen admirer of the 21-year-old and it is believed that Benzema shunned a move to Old Trafford in the summer in favour of signing from Real Madrid.

However, by the high standards at the Bernabeu, the former Lyon man has disappointed. He may have scored four goals in 11 La Liga appearances, but coach Manuel Pellegrini has started Benzema on the bench in six of the last seven matches.

Madrid are now keen to rekindle a move for long-term target David Villa from Valencia and are prepared to listen to offers for Benzema in a bid to raise funds.

Ferguson has money to spend after failing to re-invest the lion's share of the £80million he received from Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.

However, he may prefer to rival Madrid for Spain striker Villa, who has also attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.

Madrid presented Kaka in front of thousands of supporters at the Bernabeu on Tuesday and Perez stated that another new player would be announced soon, which led to intense speculation that it was Benzema.

Benzema is a good player but he isn't doing well like Ronaldo or Kaka as he is still too young and new to the LaLiga... And he isn't at their level as well. He came from the French league so its like a big step upwards for him to go to the Spanish or English league and start playing like he was in the French league...

Between him and Sergio Aguero, I think Aguero is a better player / finisher right now. But Benzema has a better built and if he improve, he will be a very good striker. But for the price Real rushed in and paid for him, $35m euros... I feel its too high. He is probably worth more closer to $20m pounds to me...

cos he is an unpolished gem. shearer also snubbed fergie twice, but he still went for him after he rejected him once when he chose to join Blackburn.

cos RM thought he was already the complete player. not to mention his attitude to being on the bench and overall unhappiness being on the bench. his attitude may rock the dressing room and spill over to other players.

he has age on his side, as he is only 21 or 22. Villa is his late 20s, so he has only a few more years of probably 3-4 years in him of top class football left in him.

this guy got potential, he knows he is not there yet. when henry left monaco and joined juventus, he was a flop there, before wenger rescued him at arsenal and converted him to a striker's role. what he need now is to join a club like man united or arsenal to prosper.

Before he join Arsenal, he is already a star. World Cup winner at age 19yrs old and net 3 WC goal.

What Wenger do is just make him become back himself only.

And one thing u forget about veteran player like Villa is , he got the experience and composure to get the things done. This is something which young kid never have.

So don't think just becos he got more years left for pro footballer will make him a better player. If u don't believe ask Wenger! See what sh*t he won with kids since experience player like Henry and Viera left?
