Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed concern about the amount of knee injuries sustained by Ji-Sung Park following his trips to represent South Korea.
Ferguson
and his staff are looking closely at how the player travels to and from
international duty in Asia as they look to minimize the injury problems
the player has endured over the past year or so.
"The problem for Ji this season has been the succession of injuries
which have de-railed him in terms of appearances," Ferguson explained, according to The Daily Telegraph.
"But all of the problems have come after South Korea international games. We have discussed the problem with their staff, as to why he comes back with knee swellings.
"That's why we are looking towards changing the way he comes back from international games in the future.
"But he is a very important figure at Manchester United and he will be involved now that he is fit."
Park may feature in central midfield or even at right-back for United at VfL Wolfsburg in the Champions League this evening, as Ferguson looks to shuffle a squad severely stretched by injuries to his back four.
Park needed to decide after world cup next year if he wants to continuing playing for korea. something has to give, as he is not young anymore. if he continue playing for korea and is beset by injuries, than his career at united is in jeopardy. his place at the team may be taken by obertan.

well, they are n exactly seating in cattle class like most of us.
Well, we thought that of Lampard too until it was reveal he was sitting in economic class or something like that for his long journey to UAE then got injured on the plane... .
Park's journey is a lot longer, maybe even twice as long...
He should retire after the WC... Cos the Korea FA isn't going to pay him $50k a week... Pounds that is.
