But rivals Real Madrid have taken the battle to a different front by designing a sexy range of underwear.
No longer will fans have to be content with a replica jersey, scarf, mug or key-ring, suporters will soon be able to buy boxer shorts, slips, bras and knickers.
The next time you see Cristiano Ronaldo pictured in his underpants, look out for the iconic badge of Los Merengues.
The range, made by Valencia-based textile company Little Kiss, is not due to hit shelves till March, but pictures have been leaked to Madrid newspaper Marca.
Taking football into the bedroom is yet another way for the club to cement their place as one of the most commercially successful sports clubs in the world.
Madrid pushed Manchester United into second place in the annual Deloitte Football Money League in the 2004-05 season and has maintained the top place ever since.
The club's marketing revenues from sales of souvenir jerseys and other objects bearing their badge account for more than £90million of their annual budget of over £360m.
