Chelsea are willing to send Sergio Aguero back to Atletico Madrid for the second-half of the season.
The People says Chelsea will sign Aguero for £35million in January - then loan him straight back to Atletico Madrid for the rest of the season.
The Blues had a deal in place to take the Argentina star next summer,
but they have brought it forward to beat their prospective transfer ban
over the Gael Kakuta inducement saga, which would preclude them from signing or selling players next summer and in the January 2011 transfer window.
The ban was set to include both 2010 windows but has now been suspended
pending an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport next spring. As
a result, Chelsea are free to make signings in the New Year.
That decision has allowed them to strike a deal now with Atletico, and
means Aguero will sign in January but still finish the season in Madrid.
